Hunt Buddy BC is a better way to read the Hunting Regulations Synopsis for British Columbia, Canada.

Offline topographic maps and other mapping goodies available by In-App Purchase.

Use your devices GPS to tell you what MU youre in, or pick an MU from a list or off the map. See at a glance everything you need to know about a Management Unit:

- Open seasons - dates, bag limits, and more
- Links to detail maps
- Motor vehicle, shooting and other restrictions
- Sunrise/sunset and moon phases

Pick any date to see the seasons & restrictions that will be in effect when and where youre planning to hunt. You dont have to flip back and forth through the tables and maps - its all there, and its organized so you can find what you need quickly and easily. The open season list and season detail page have quick links into the Synopsis for definitions, restrictions, maps and more.

The 2022-2024 Regulations Synopsis and 2023-2024 Limited Entry Hunting (LEH) Synopsis are also included.

- Mapping Package: Downloadable topo maps. Parks, protected areas, recreation sites and trails. Tracks and pins (waypoints). User configurable map servers. Record tracks and pins using your devices built in GPS. Import / export tracks and pins in GPX format. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

I downloaded hint buddy a couple years ago, and it has been a huge asset to not only my hunting needs, but all outdoors needs. It is easy to navigate, and best of all, I can pull up info without using data. In app purchases of additional mapping are very reasonably priced. Just this year I lost my bearing while inside timber. So I opened hunt buddy and immediately regained my bearing. Saved me a lot of walking. Get LIMITED ENTERY info, or regulations info and instant updates on any in season changes. This app is a must for not only hunters, but any outdoor enthusiast!

Made in BC by hunters. Get the full package with the mapping and it doesnt get any better. Every road, trail, spur and it will record your track without a cell connection. Regs, Seasons, bag limits, moon phase, sunrise/sunset all the basics in a very simple presentation. First thing I ask when I meet a fellow hunter, Do you use hunt buddy?

App is the easiest way to read the regs. I originally was just looking for a app that had just the regs. Wow am I glad I found this. 3 thumbs up.

Boy am I glad I happened upon this app. I was looking for the 2012-2014 updated app but this is WAY BETTER. So easy to use and navigate, especially when in the bush and you dont have time to scroll around looking for what you need.

Very impressed with this app. Everything works great. It would be nice if you added a placemarks/favourites in the map section to mark hunting spots for quick reference. If you are on the fence about buying this app, just get it, you will be glad you did!!

This is a very handy app. I wasnt sure how often Id use it when I bought it. Turns out Ive been using it all season long. Id recommend this app to all hunters in B.C.

Some bad moments

Just downloaded this app. It shows wrong information in whats in season. If you rely on this app you could get in trouble for hunting out of season or hunting the wrong animal. Pretty important info to screw up.

Looks like it has potential...but I cant change he zone unless you there! So, to search areas that are open or where your going to....didnt work for me

Usually A must have app for hunters in bc. Unfortunately despite claiming they solved the issue in the last update the application still freezes when switching to the "map tab" the majority of the time, making the application rather useless... Hoping for update soon!

Id give it NO stars if I could, 1 star is too much, doesnt work, keeps on crashing. In the city, not in the bushed. Not worth buying
